In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem! Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools.When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!.When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game! There's definitely areas that could be improved but I just loved the story and characters so much it really doesn't hamper my enjoyment much. Traversing the map is slow until you get an item that let's you travel faster so backtracking early on can be a chore. Dungeons and overworld areas were pretty standard aside from a few standouts like Gaiburk Ice Field, Davahl Forest, and Palamides Temple. This might sound like the difficulty was nuked from orbit with a lack of a resource you must replenish but you'd be surprised on how challenging some of the bosses/stronger monsters could be and how quickly you'll be wiped out if you don't prepare. Combat is fast and fluid like Xillia but ditches MP to be more focused on chaining artes. I loved literally the entire playable cast to the moon and back and the supporting characters were also great more times than not (Dyle, Kurogane, Medissa, etc.).
It's not perfect by any means but the story and characters resonated with me unlike any RPG I played before.
